Test Selection

Only the ICTS Basic Skills test (test code 096) is available on computer. The test session includes five hours of actual testing time; examinees must report to the test center 30 minutes before their scheduled testing time to be signed in. Test sessions are by appointment and are scheduled by examinees (see "Internet Registration for Computer-Based Testing" for information about test scheduling).

If you are uncertain about which tests you are required to take for your certification, consult your college advisor, certification officer, or regional office of education. For more information about certification requirements, please refer to the ISBE Web site at www.isbe.net/teachers.htm. Evaluation Systems is not authorized to answer questions regarding tests required for certification.
