Retake Policy
If you wish to retake an ICTS test, you must complete the registration process and make the appropriate payment by the registration deadline for the new test date. When you register to retake a test, you must retake the entire test.
Your ability to retake a test is subject to the following conditions.
CBT Retest Window
If you take a computer-based ICTS test, you must wait 120 days before retaking the same test on computer.
Test Attempts
You may attempt to take the same test 5 times.
If you have attempted the same test 5 times and do not pass, you will not be allowed to register to take the same test in the future.
Test attempt definition. When you sign in at the test site you are considered to have attempted to test.
The following circumstances DO count toward your test attempts:
- You become ill and are unable to complete the test.
- You cancel your score.
- You leave the test center without completing the test.
- Your test score is voided due to a violation of a testing rule.
The following circumstances DO NOT count toward your test attempts:
- You are absent from the test.
- You arrive late and are not allowed to test.
